Inspiration     According to a Roman story, Phoenician sailors camped one night on a beach, lit a fire and set their cooking pots on blocks of natron (soda) which was the cargo they were carrying. When they woke the next morning they found that the heat of the fire had fused the sand and soda into glass. The ingenuity of this silver-plate collection resides in the use of the blown glass, uniquely inspired by nature. We’ve produced a palette of Mediterranean sea-tones, cool blues and turquoises, warm amber, and aqua. With the marriage of silver and blown glass, you can see why we have coined it “rock meets heavy metal”!

Origins   Named Sarafand, this collection is in tribute to the fisherman’s village in South Lebanon where the blown glass is created. Designed by artist Magali Nahas, who trained herself in the antique shops of Paris before launching herself into interior design, Badarro silver is an innovative expression of her talent and creativity. Each piece is entirely handmade of brass that has been silver-plated to the highest standards by talented artisans in Lebanon. Our silver is food-safe. We recommend hand washing.
